THE WINTERIZING POOL VALVE SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS

Installation Instructions:

1. Examine units (remove cap and shake to make sure parts are moving OR press inner parts between fingers until parts are moving.
   
2. Use Teflon tape for threads, wrap as needed to seal threads.
   
3. Remove all eyeball units from pool lines.
   
4. Install valves without caps
   
5. Use wrench (included) no other tool required (hand tighten only) - Use 3/8" drive to loosen in case of over tightening.
   
6. Blow out lines with air compressor. (Requires 20 to 30 psi max.)
   
7. Lubricate caps with any water based lubricant (Silicon Lubricant recommended.)
   DO NOT USE OIL BASED LUBRICANT.
   
8. Snap cap on unit, press on center to fit in place, rotate cap over unit 3-4 times to optimize seal & press center.

Next Season Instructions:

1. Wash unit in warm soap and water to remove old lubricant.
   
2. Re-lubricate unit.
   
3. Follow insturctions 1 through 8 from above.

Special Notes:

In case of pre-existing leaks, cracks or holes in the pipelines, the use of anti-freeze is highly recommended.

This Product Does Not Winterize your Skimmer. See your skimmer's manufacturers instructions.

Usage: Return lines and helps slow down algae growth.

Installation Instructions:

1. Examine units (remove cap)
2. Use Teflon tape for threads, wrap as needed to seal threads.
3. Insert hose (included) in to a 1/4” hole passing thru second chamber. Do not block the center hole.
4. Remove all eyeballs from return line that is being used.
5. Install unit without cap.
6. Use wrench (included) no other tool required (hand tighten only) -Use 3/8" drive to loosen In case of over tightening.
7. Make sure hose is upright and above water level. (See diagram)
8. Snap cap on unit and rotate 2-3 times, press center to seat position.
9. Hose cap off, bubbles on, Hose cap on, bubbles off
10. For winterizing season, remove The Cool Jet Unit completely and store in a cool dry place. Avoid direct sun.

Next Season Instructions:

1. Reinstall. Follow directions above 1-10.

THE WINTERIZING POOL AIR STATION KIT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Check to insure you have all required parts before beginning insulation.
   
2. Permanently install Air Station 1 after the Filter & Chlorine Tank.
   
3. Use Air Station 1 to blow out return lines.
   
4. Permanently install Air Station 2 before pump. Use this station to blow out Main Drain & Skimmer Lines.
   
5. Insure the one way sleeve opening is pointed in the direction that you want to blow the lines out.
   
6. To Install the Quick Connect Use Teflon Tape for Threads.
   
7. Set your Compressor at 20psi. (NOT TO EXCEED MAX 30psi).
   
8. Then follow Instructions 1 thru 8 when you use Gigit Winterizing valves.
   
9. After using Air Station, remove one way sleeve by rocking back and forth & pull upwards.
   
10. Fill lines with Anti-freeze.
    
11. Then install running cap using Teflon tape.

When installing the air station sleeve, insure that the one way sleeve opening is pointed in the direction that you want to blow the lines out.
